RE-ELECT OBAMA: VOTE NEWT!
Posted on January 26, 2012 at 10:56 PM EST

To talk with Gingrich supporters is to enter a world where words have no meaning. They denounce Mitt Romney as a candidate being pushed on them by “the Establishment” — with “the Establishment” defined as anyone who supports Romney or doesn’t support Newt.
Judge orders Obama to courtroom in eligibility hearing

There’s a subpoena from a Georgia administrative court with Barack Obama’s name on it for him to be in Atlanta on Thursday, along with the documentation about his birth, to answer to challenges from residents of the state objecting to the presence of his name on the 2012 ballot.
They believe he’s simply not eligible under the Constitution’s requirement that a president be a “natural born citizen.” They say the Founders thought of that status as the offspring of two citizen parents, and Obama’s father was Kenyan. Or they say he wasn’t born in the U.S. They are legitimately allowed to raise those challenges under a state law.
New Yorker’s fawning piece on Obama reelection strategy

On a frigid January evening in 2009, a week before his Inauguration, Barack Obama had dinner at the home of George Will, the Washington Post columnist, who had assembled a number of right-leaning journalists to meet the President-elect. Accepting such an invitation was a gesture on Obama’s part that signalled his desire to project an image of himself as a post-ideological politician, a Chicago Democrat eager to forge alliances with conservative Republicans on Capitol Hill. That week, Obama was still working on an Inaugural Address that would call for “an end to the petty grievances and false promises, the recriminations and worn-out dogmas that for far too long have strangled our politics.”
Media finally get curious – What would Obama do with 2nd term?

Take this quiz: If President Barack Obama wins a second term, he has promised that he will do … what exactly?
There are people who follow the president closely who couldn’t answer that question. And even those who try would surely find themselves disagreeing with one another.

With the 2012 elections just months away, the ACORN-connected group Project Vote (and Obama campaign ally) is redoubling its efforts to undermine the integrity of the 2012 elections – and they are evidently doing it with the participation of the Obama White House and the Department of Justice (DOJ).
In January, Judicial Watch obtained additional documents about meetings held between Estelle Rogers, Director of Advocacy for the ACORN organization Project Vote, and officials from the Obama White House and the DOJ.
Is Romney trying to cast Gingrich as Obama-lite?

NORTH CHARLESTON, South Carolina – Mitt Romney’s campaign will use the next days and weeks to paint a portrait of Newt Gingrich as hyper-ambitious, reckless, erratic, and consumed by a lust for power and a fantastical sense of his own place in history: As, that is, the Republican caricature of President Barack Obama.
To do this, they reached back to 2008 and employed the same attacks that Republican John McCain hurled at candidate Obama—that he was arrogant, elitist, and obsessed with historic stature.

BLOG: Buzzfeed site in the tank for Obama? Accusation by BigJournalism writer falls short.

BigJournalism today featured an article entitled “Ben Smith Uses Buzzfeed to Land Lower Blows On GOP”
Such a title makes a big claim about Buzzfeed’s new top political editor.  I was expecting to perhaps find a study of Buzzfeed headlines under Smith evidencing a clear cut bias or at least a sampling of quotes from Buzzfeed’s political articles demonstrating something less than objectivity.
