Ron Paul should criticize Mitt Romney over war policy, or drop out and endorse Romney?

The alliance between Ron Paul and Mitt Romney is wearing thin and turning Paul into a hobbyist candidate who will soon be forgotten. Romney is the front-runner to be Republican nominee for commander in chief and is running around the country sounding like an armchair general looking for war to declare. Paul takes the exact opposite position but has completely failed to challenge Romney about this. Either Paul should take Romney on, or drop out and endorse him.
If Paul wants to help Romney be nominated, he should not ask for small donations unless he makes his interest clear. If Paul really believes what he says about foreign policy, he should directly confront Romney about this. The winds of war are reaching gale force, yet  Paul still plays footsie with Romney while Romney bangs the drums of war.
