Issa Presses Interior Department On Occupy D.C. Camp.

A leading House Republican has asked the Department of the Interior why the National Park Service has allowed dozens of Occupy D.C. protesters to remain in a downtown park that has been damaged by the makeshift tent city.
Committee on Oversight and Government Reform Chairman Darrell Issa, R-Calif., said the demonstrators, many of whom have illegally camped in McPherson Square for two months, should have been evicted from the central downtown park long ago.
