Legendary standup Jackie Mason had harsh words for Michele Bachmann, declaring in a radio interview that if the GOP presidential hopeful “had any intelligence” she’d quit the race.
The comedian, a supporter of Tea Party who doubles as an occasional conservative columnist, skewered Bachmann as being in over her head while “only having six talking points.”
“Bachmann has a problem of her own,” said Mason. “She only has six phrases and she keeps repeating them since she starting running for office.”
Mason was speaking in an interview on “Aaron Klein Investigative Radio” on New York’s WABC Radio

Mason stated: “Her popularity has gone down every day. Every time she’s in another debate, she does a wonderful job, she speaks very well, but she keeps telling the same story. ‘I got 23 children and I got 5 children that are biological, twenty three are not mine.’ And ‘I’m telling you that the whole country has to find out once and for all that Barack Obama should be a one term president.’”
“She has six phrases and she keeps repeating them,” continued Mason. “And as soon as you ask her a complicated question, she knows nothing about it because she’s talking over her head.”
The seventy-five year old comedian cited recent polls indicating a significant drop in support for Bachmann.
“She’s at the bottom of the pile now,” he said. “You don’t need a Democrat to attack her. The Republicans want to have nothing to do with her.”
Mason recommended that Bachmann pull out of the race.
“She’s wasting her time even running,” he said.
“If she had any intelligence she’d quit tomorrow,” added Mason.
